FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about our products, purchases, licenses, invoicing and support.

General

What does Boostage Online sell?

Ready-to-use software: WordPress plugins and WooCommerce extensions, web and mobile applications, website and app templates. We also deliver custom projects (websites, platforms, data, training): contact us for a quote.

Do you work with customers outside Benin?

Yes. Our products are used in several West African countries and beyond; the site, documentation and support are available in French and English. Card payment lets you buy from any country.

Do you build custom solutions?

Yes: websites, platforms, mobile applications, data solutions and training. Describe your project on the Contact page; we come back with precise questions and a proposal.

Buying & payment

How does buying work?

Choose your product and license, pay online (Mobile Money, bank card or transfer), then download the files immediately from your account. Your license key and certified invoice are sent by email.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Moov Money and the other operators offered by our payment provider), Visa/Mastercard bank cards and bank transfer. Prices are in CFA francs; their euro equivalent is shown for information (1 EUR = 655.957 XOF).

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if the software does not work as described and we cannot fix it: report it within 14 days of purchase and give us the opportunity to step in. A change of mind is not refundable once the files and key are made available to you: you request that immediate access when ordering. The refund revokes the license and triggers a credit note. Details in the refund policy.

Do I have a right of withdrawal?

Businesses do not. For consumers whose law provides such a right (14 days in the European Union, for example), it ends as soon as the files and key are made available at your express request: that is what the checkbox at checkout is for. Ask us anything before buying; and if the software does not work as described, our 14-day working guarantee applies.

Do prices include VAT?

Outside the European Union, the displayed price is the price you pay. For consumers in the European Union, the VAT of their country is added at checkout, as EU law requires, and is shown before payment. An EU business that enters a valid VAT number (checked with the European Commission) pays no VAT: it reverse-charges it.

Licenses & updates

What does a license include?

The right to use the software on the chosen number of sites (1, 5 or unlimited), with updates and technical support, for one year. Development sites that are not open to the public (localhost, .local, .test, staging. or dev. subdomains) do not use up an activation. Details are in the software license agreement.

How do updates work?

Once your key is activated in the plugin, updates appear in your WordPress dashboard like for any other extension, as long as your license is active.

What happens when my license expires?

You get a reminder 30, 7 and 1 day before expiry, then on the day itself; nothing is charged automatically. After expiry, the software keeps working for 14 days (grace period), without updates, support or downloads; its licensed features then pause until renewal. Your settings and data are kept, and renewing reactivates everything immediately with the same key.

Can I share my key or use it on more sites?

No. The key is personal and limited to the number of sites of your plan; a site open to the public always counts, even under a “staging” type address. For more sites, choose the 5-site or unlimited plan. A shared, published or resold key is revoked without refund.

Installation & support

Can you install the product for me?

Yes. On request, our team installs and configures your solution with you, remotely. This assistance covers installation and setup; customisations are quoted separately.

Invoicing

Will I receive a certified invoice?

Yes. Every paid order produces a certified invoice (e-MECeF, Benin tax authority) with a MECeF/DGI code and a verification QR code. It is attached to your order email and available in your account. Businesses can enter their tax ID at checkout so it appears on the invoice.
